THANK YOU!

This is a great big THANK YOU to all of you who shop at Pick & Save and Sentry Foods. The money that comes in from your receipts helps the Presbyterian Women raise money for their Mission Fund.

Our Presbyterian Women’s group participates in the WE CARE program at Pick ’n Save grocery stores and the Funds for Friends program at designated Sentry Stores.

These programs pay the group 1% of your total grocery receipt. The following procedures tell you how you can participate in these programs to benefit our Presbyterian Women’s group.

Pick ‘n Save has an electronic system of crediting the WE CARE receipts.  (We no longer collect their grocery receipts.)

If you haven’t already done so, fill out a form for the Advantage Plus Card at the customer service counter of your Pick ‘n Save store. On that form will be a place to indicate the code number of the charity(s) (up to three) to which you want your purchases credited.

United Presbyterian Women of First Presbyterian Church of Ottawa is listed as Presbyterian Women of Ottawa on their list of charities. The code number is 625550.

You must have your Advantage Plus Card scanned when you pay for your groceries for your purchase to be credited to the group. Your card can be used at any Pick ‘n Save store. The group receives 1% of all purchases when the card is scanned. A check is sent to the group quarterly.

We collect grocery receipts with Funds for Friends stickers from the following two Sentry Food stores:

     Sentry Foods                           Sentry Foods

     630 E. Wisconsin Ave.              3255 Golf Road

     Oconomowoc, WI                     Delafield, WI

All you need to do is ask for a sticker when you pay for your groceries. Then keep your receipt and place it in the grocery receipts box on the kitchen counter at church. The group receives 1% of all receipts that are turned in, within 6 months of the purchase, with a sticker.

RECYCLING

There is a collection box for recycling cell phones and ink cartridges next to the copy machine at church. Your continuing support of this program is earning us credit at Office Max to use toward purchasing printing supplies for the church.
